About EDBSA

Ernakulam District Badminton (Shuttle) Association also known as EDBSA, is the official association of badminton for the district of Ernakulam. EDBSA is affiliated to Kerala Badminton Shuttle Association (KBSA) which is affiliated to Kerala State Sports Council and Indian Olympic Association (Kerala Chapter). KBSA is an affiliated unit of Badminton Association of India (BAI). We have an elected body for promoting badminton in the district. Our goal is to develop badminton as a sport for all and to encourage the best players to progress up through the rankings at club, district, state, national and international level. We can proudly say that our players have been representing India for many years. There are many academies in Ernakulam nurturing young talents under the watchful eyes of capable coaches. We also conduct numerous ranking tournaments in the national and state levels.
